Sometimes you find people, things you need in your life in the most unlikely of places. These things are the crucible into which your soul is thrown, these people the catalyst.

Sometimes they don't even know their affect on you. And you may not even recognize it yourself until you take a step back, gain some perspective on the changes you have made as a person. What is stripped away, and what is left.

We all desire knowledge, to better ourselves. But as the quote says. In the end, what does it matter the enjoyment we find in these moments?
I believe it matters. These glimmers enlightenment, the moments of explicit joy when all the pieces of the puzzle mesh together to create the image of what you were looking for. These are the moments that define us.

Between the alchemical combination of people and events. We get the definition of self.
And when all is said and done. The only thing left will be the memories that you leave behind.
How will you be remembered? What effect will you have on the people around you?
Will you be their crucible as they were yours?
That is what life is. Become that for someone else, and you will find your life gaining meaning. Leave a legacy that will be remembered for years after you are gone.
And perhaps someone will leave theirs on you in return.
